If you’ve played any game that gets its revenue from ads, you’ve likely seen plenty of these games. They’re usually fairly simple games, with lotto type scratcher tickets, prize wheels, and raffles.
They’re fun enough, and I never expected to win the hundreds of dollars advertised in the ads. But a dollar here and there really can add up.
To date, I’ve gotten a $2 amazon gift certificate.
It’s free money. The games can be fun and for the most part, easy to play. You can casually play during the day.
You’re more likely to get a few cents here and there at best. I still have not made the minimum cash out after a few months of play. If you’re hoping to collect enough points for a good payout instead, good luck. The lowest I’ve found so far is three million points, and it still takes a long time to add up. (And that three million? Worth a whole two dollars.)
Another big detractor is the amount of ads.
It makes perfect sense that apps like this would have ads. That’s how they make their money, and it’s how they pay it forward with cash prizes. However, some have ads every two or three rounds… others, have ads after every round. It really makes completing all the daily “tasks” time consuming and exhausting.
Another detractor is that none of the games are “connected.” You can’t pool your points or winnings between apps. That means you need to remember to devote time to each app if you want to meet all your daily goals.
In the end, this is definitely not a way to get rich quick, and in my personal opinion, there are easier ways to earn a little extra spending money. If you would like to give them a try, you can find links to some of my favorites at the bottom of this blog.
What I would suggest, is that you pick one and stick with it. You still won’t earn very fast, but unless you have a lot of time on your hands, one is enough.
