I’ve been working on a few various side projects already this year. (This blog being one of them.) In a way, it feels as though I’m pulling myself in several different directions.
First, there’s the multiple email accounts I’ve made for each project. In fact, I’ve held off on creating one specifically for this blog due to the fact that I don’t check the emails I already have. Not that I’m really expecting anything important from them, but it’s overwhelming to open them up and hit with a healthy grip of emails to sort through.
Then, there’s the actual accounts. I have a google developer account, a go daddy account, an etsy account, and… well, you get the picture.
I could always dump some of the projects, sure. But I’m really not at a point where I’m ready to part with them, whether by selling or abandoning. They’re also not huge money makers (yet) and I feel to brush them off before they have a chance to take off would be doing myself a disservice.
My solution to this problem is now my current project. Thankfully, it will only take about a week.
I’m going to get everything streamlined. One main email address, one place to find everything, and one place to check and see how my projects are doing. I feel like a little organization will go a long way and help me get a grasp on exactly how everything is doing.
Which means I’ll also have a better idea of how everything’s going, and will be able to share said projects much easier.
Over the next week, keep an eye out for a new link area. It will be a permanent home and easy to find sidebar for everything I’m working on. Also, the official Salty Nomad email will be coming soon for anyone wishing to reach out to me.
